Hardness Picks Mineral ID Add-On Kit

If you have our Mohs' Hardness Pick Set for Industrial Use (item HD-2), and wish to convert it to a Mineral ID Kit, then purchase this Add-On Kit, which includes the following additional items:

• Streak Plate - (white) for testing a mineral's "streak" color
• Magnet - for identifying Magnetite, Pyrrhotite, and Nickel-Iron Meteorites, etc. 
• Hardness Plate = Mohs' 2.5
• Mineral ID Instructions
  
• Hardness Tables featuring common Minerals
• Product Label (outer) "Deluxe Hardness Picks & Mineral ID Kit"

All of the above items store neatly in the Plastic Case that houses your Industrial Kit.  Place the Streak Plate and Hardness Plate in the same rectangular recess used by your other Hardness Plates.  Fit the Magnet in the square hole at the bottom right of your opened Plastic Case.  Peel and affix the combo Instructions/Tables to the inside left cover of your Plastic Case.  Finally, peel and affix the Outer Label over the existing label on the outside front of your Plastic Case.
