High Intensity UV Lamp

The Blak-Ray B-100SP high powered UV lamp offers brilliant irradiance for optimum fluorescence.  The B-100SP lamp is recommended for use in inspection and leak detection applications.       

It comes with the special heat-resistant plastic Cool-TouchTM housing which allows users to handle the lamp head regardless of how long the lamp has been operating.  This rugged lamp can be placed face down on a working surface without damage to the filter.       

The self-ballasted bulb included with the B-100SP has an average life of 450 to 2000 hours depending on use patterns.  The bulb is of an efficient, super-bright Mercury Vapor type, and so on initial plug-in, will irradiate immediately, but can take up to 5 minutes to reach full intensity.
