The popular Versalume UV light by Raytech is well suited for field or home use. Its lightweight construction and compact size make it perfect for mines and backpacking. It operates on four AA batteries (not included) for up to 4 hours of operation. For use at home, it includes a 115V A/C adapter (230V available). In the field, the dual-purpose handle folds up, making it comfortable to carry, while at home, the handle separates to form a stand for hands-free operation. All models offer a full 4 watts of UV power. The molded plastic case is 8” x 4” x 2” and weighs 1 lb. Includes Raytech’s exclusive lifetime filters and “The Story of Fluorescence”.

When ordering, specify either Shortwave (SW), Longwave (LW), or both in combination, and either 115Volts or 230Volts (more popular in Europe).

The combination unit contains a single double-ended bulb, with Shortwave and Longwave at opposite ends.  To "switch" between wavelengths, just manually shield the wavelength end you wish to prevent from shining through.
