The Raytector 5-2 UV light from Raytech offers both standard A/C operation* for lab use and battery power for portable use and has a full 12 watts of power. It has an internal, rechargeable, very long-lasting lead acid battery eliminating replacements. One full charge of 24 hours gives 5 to 7 hours of battery operation. The built-in charger plugs into wall outlets for intermittent or continuous recharging.  The recharging cord stores conveniently inside the lamp behind a removable cover.

The Raytector 5-2 houses two tubes or bulbs positioned next to each other.  You can operate either or both tubes simultaneously, activated by a convenient sliding toggle switch. Single tube operation, emitting 6 watts, extends battery life, while double tube operation substantially increases the output intensity to a full 12 watts. Each lamp comes with Raytech’s exclusive lifetime filters and A/C adapter. The impact-resistant plastic case is 10” x 6” x 3” and weighs 5 lbs.  Color may be tan (as shown in the photo) or red.

Because of the dual tube construction of the Raytector 5-2, you can configure it with one Shortwave and one Longwave tube or bulb, a "Combination" unit.  Or, both tubes can be of the same wavelength.  So when ordering, specify either Shortwave (SW), Longwave (LW), or both in combination, and either 115Volts or 230Volts (more popular in Europe).
